Mr. Wartel graduated Magna Cum Laude in Government from Cornell University.  Cornell University is one of the most highly regarded universities in the United States.

Mr. Wartel is a graduate of George Washington University School of Law.  Mr. Wartel began to perfect his trial skills as a student in the trial advocacy program and focused his legal studies on criminal defense issues.

After graduation from law school, Mr. Wartel opened his own practice in Alexandria, Virginia.  He is long time member of both the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) and the Alexandria Bar Association.
